Dr. Hans Chi is an experienced educator and the co-founder of Pacific Academy. He earned his Ph.D. in molecular biology from the National Tsing Hua University and joined Beckman Coulter, Inc. as a program manager. With a 20-year career in science and academia, Dr Chi strongly advocates for education, career exploration, and youth talent development.

A 70-year veteran of Electrical Engineering, Mr. Lin began his career in 1956 managing critical communications systems as a telecommunications specialist. His comprehensive expertise includes industrial equipment design, machinery manufacturing, and electronic systems integration, notably leading a major Taiwan-Japan production project.
 

In the U.S., he founded a successful commercial contracting firm, providing HVAC and electrical services for 40+ years. Today, Mr. Lin mentors our Solar Car team, guiding students in chassis fabrication, system integration, and hands-on problem solving, bridging master-level craftsmanship with the next generation.

Jack as a passionate STEM counselor and coach, who is known for his friendliness and professionalism working with students of all ages. He graduated with a B.S in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University and a M.S in Product Design from Carnegie Melon University. He has experience with electronics, aerospace, and automotive engineering from working at companies such as Apple, Boeing, and EV startups.
